What a great reason to come spend the weekend in wine country.  Not only can you run and dive through mud, but you can relax and stay a few days, taste some fabulous Continue Reading...

Siracha Lime Shrimp

Happy Thursday everyone.  Today is day four of #whatslovely and it is FOOD day.  Where do I even begin with this one?  I am not going to get all technical and talk "food science" with you.  I am NOT a registered dietician or nutritionist, I am just a gal who happens to LOVE food {and a great glass of wine}.  Not only am I so spoiled living in California and am surrounded by the most amazing produce, fruits and veggies ... I happen to live smack dab in the center of the wine country and the Continue Reading...

Sports Illustrated Did You Have To?

sicover-850x560

It's out and we have all seen it or have heard about it.  The 2015 Sports Illustrated Swim Suit edition.  I know, the swim suit edition is always something  jaw dropping.  Both men and women {yes I do read  look at the issue} do enjoy it.  But can we really go over this particular issue? Hannah Davis, I can't say anything bad because I don't know her, nor do I follow her.  In fact, until this week, I had NO idea who she was.  I have no doubt that it is one of the most amazing experiences to Continue Reading...

Mirror, Mirror …

mirror mirror

So I have been down and out of "workout commission" for about three weeks {this bug really kicked my ass} and I have been feeling just "crumpy" {crappy and grumpy into one} I have had tons of time to read magazines, look at Pinterest, watch t.v. and all of the sudden, it just hit me {or maybe irritated me}. I looked in the mirror and this is what came to me ... How do we see ourselves, are we too obsessed with society and what it "thinks" or says we should look like. How many times Continue Reading...
