Orange Cleanse

Okay so everyone has a “cleanse” today OR everyone is drinking smoothies, veggie juices, etc. I am a huge fan of all this stuff and I love creating smoothies in the kitchen. Most of the time they are so “out there” that my hubby rolls his eyes and makes some sort of grunt sound when I want to share them with him.

Well, today was another “create” day.

Ingredients for the Orange Cleanse

I love “cutie” oranges….they are just small enough for a quick grab and go snack to throw in a purse, gym bag, kids lunches and the right size for when I am feeling the “orange love” for a smoothie drink.

When wanting to squeeze juice from a lemon, it is always a great idea to “roll” the lemon out first then cut in half and squeeze through a strainer to avoid the seeds OR just go right in and spoon the seeds out.

Add everything to the blender and blend. You need to drink this fast as it starts to separate.  A few days a week helps me just drink something clean and have metab boosting at the same time.
