Okay so I have had a chance to open each of the snack treats and here’s the deal…

  • BruBar Energy Bar does have that barley taste for sure

  • Milk Chocolate Caramel Cups are filled with a thick caramel {half of one is plenty for me}

I think the Kona Kase box is a great once a month box to use the snacks to throw in the gym bag, take in the car, pack in the backpack while out hiking, etc.  Would I pay $15 a month and free shipping?   Heck yes!

  1. I love everything in the Kona box! I had signed up to try both the Zola and the Kona box and guess I didn’t make it, so I love reading the reviews! I think I’d like to try the Acai zola ideally. Sounds the most interesting. Like you, I’d never been a huge coconut water fan. In the Kona box – there are a lot I haven’t tried, but I LOVE the Earnest bar. I remember getting one in a box at some point and really liked it. thanks for sharing 🙂

  2. I have never tried coconut water – I imagine it is something I wouldn’t like (I’m not very adventurous) Ive also never tried acai berries.
    The Kona box looks good though, so many cute yummy looking treats

    • I actually used the left over Coconut water in my recovery drink today after my run….Coconut water is not bad, I just can’t drink an entire glass of it, however it is amazing for us…Sarah give it a try 🙂

  3. Coconut water is great, way better than sports drinks. So refreshing. It is good to always have a few healthy snacks with you when you go out so you don’t fall into a “donut trap” or similar.

    • No doughnut trap for us Jason.:) I am not a fan of sports drinks at all, so love just water, but I am really going to make more of an effort to have coconut water here in the house for recovery drinks 🙂

  4. I must be looking in all the wrong places! I am having such a hard time finding coconut water! I don’t like coconut so i’m afraid to try it! I did however, get myself some coconut oil! I have been thinking about subscribing to these boxes but I am SO picky and fear I will dislike most of the products :-/

    • Sherry you can find coconut water at Whole Foods I know that..I am sure your market must carry some brand….I love coconut oil also, and actually keep a jar in the bathroom for after my showers and shaving 🙂

  5. I absolutely LOVE coconut water. I fell in love with it when I was on vacation in the Caribbean where you can drink it straight out of the coconut. It’s also a great way to rehydrate after an intense workout. Coconut water is essentially nature’s energy drink.

  6. you are too cute with your video!! i dont have the guts for all that business. I have mixed feelings on the water but only tried the natural so far. i like the ideas os smoothies but all the stuff ppl put in them makes me nervous that I will hate it and waste all the fruits/veggies.

    • Thanks Jodi….listen as far as having “guts” I figure life is too short and stepping out of our comfort zones, helps us achieve goals…{doing video blogging is a really scary thing for me} But I am able to laugh at myself and hopefully maybe inspire others or entertain them..LOL

      Just make your own smoothies so you know exactly what is in them and you don’t have to worry about what the ingredients are 🙂 Thanks for commenting and I hope you continue to follow

  7. I am a huge fan of Coconut water! I drink Zico all the time, and use it as a pre and post workout “energy drink” if you can call it that. My favorite flavor, for when I’m just looking for some flavor, is the chocolate coconut water. It is SO GOOD!
