Iced Coffee Latte with PB2

I am one of those people who CAN sleep on coffee.  Yes, forget the “decaf”, load me up!  I have finally gotten myself to drink my morning coffee without sugar, just plain {zero sugar, unsweetened} Almond Milk.  However, when it comes to the afternoon and I am feeling a tad groggy, I know I need to whip something up.  But I want to keep it somewhat as low sugar so possible {and cals}.

Cold Peanut Butter Coffee Latte…

Simple, simple…here is what you need…

  • PB 2 {I love using this product when I need Peanut Butter}
  • Almond Milk {zero sugar} you can substitute for Soy or whatever you prefer
  • Dark Chocolate Chips
  • Coffee {left over from the morning carafe}
  • Chocolate Sauce {optional}

Mix up your PB 2 according to the instructions on the container.  I used about 1/4 cup.  Add this to a blender with ice.  Add about 1/2 cup almond milk, the dark chocolate chips and one cup of cold coffee.  Blend all ingredients together.  {You might have to add more liquid if too thick}

Pour into a fun glass and drizzle with chocolate sauce.  I happen to have had some Hershey’s in the fridge and used that.

Just enough “pick me up” for mid afternoon and with a touch of sweet without a lot of calories and sugar.

*Can you drink coffee during the day?
Are you only a decaf drinker?
Do you even make coffee at home, or do you like to go out and buy from coffee shops?
