Yountville, Ca….Have You Been There?

When I created my site and blog and named it Fitnessmomwinecountry  I knew it was the perfect name.  We live right here in the wine country and honestly could not be more blessed.  One of the great things about being a blogger from this area is that I can virtually take you around and show off some beautiful locations, share some good food, wine and just amazing sites.  Someone pinch me please, because there is not a day that I wake when I am not most grateful for being able to raise our children in such a wonderful place.

Let’s go to Yountville, CA today, shall we?

I had to have the Pumpkin Spice Latte and my first ever Espresso Macaroon…Oh and the dog treat for Stryker from Bouchon.  The macaroon was so sweet and wow, I had to share with my hubby..too much for one person

I met this amazing dog..his name is Schroder and he is as warm and cozy as he looks.  Thank you to the owners for letting me jump up on him for a photo op.

Chef Michael Chiraello’s Bottega geting ready to open for lunch….

Lovin my hubby

If you are one of the lucky one’s, you will have a chance to dine at the French Laundry.  The waiting list to eat here is months out, even a year in advance {unless, I am sure you know someone}.  Two nine-course tasting menus are made every day and never the same.  This is not just going to eat dinner, this is an experience and lasts from 3-4 hours min.

The French Laundry Culinary Garden sits across the street.  The pictures are worth a thousand words. A seasonally evolving site for the planning, planting and harvest of fruits and vegetables featured in the daily-changing menus of The French Laundry, as well as the menus of sibling restaurants Bouchon, Bouchon Bakery and Ad Hoc.

What an amazing morning we had, just taking off for a few hours while the kids were in school.  Just a short to somewhere so beautiful and taking time for each other

Until next time…
