Just One Word for 2015

The first week into the New Year is almost over and I am just taking each day on with a happy and positive outlook.  I have taken the last few days to reflect on last year and see my vision for this year.  I have hopes, dreams, and goals.  I am not sure if this year will meet my expectations of what I have in mind, however I am just going to “BE” and enjoy the journey.

This brings me to my word for the year … BE

just be

I love it, it is perfect.  BE  can mean so much …

Be Amazing
Be Awesome
Be In The Moment
Be Patient
Be Kind
Be Quiet
Be Present
Be Aware
Be Honest
Be Happy
Be Healthy
Be Fabulous
Be Creative
Be Brave
Be Strong
Be Courageous
Be Beautiful
Be There
Be Humble
Be Grateful
Be Caring
Be Accepting
Be Fun
Be Silly
Be Confident
Be YOU …

I don’t want to get caught up in comparing myself.  I don’t want to worry about what I am not accomplishing.  I want to focus on what I am doing.  I will BE okay with me.  I will accept who I am and what I look like, what kind of mother I am, what kind of wife I am, what kind of friend I am.

I will take care of my own body my way.  I will eat what I want {while being healthy and smart}.  I will write what I want.  I will make my own schedule.  I will sometimes just do nothing and take in the quiet.  I will play music more and dance in the kitchen with my hubby when cooking dinner.  I will still play with my children and make family time something fun.  I will have new adventures.

I will learn to …
Balance everything out
Breathe deeply each day
Believe in what God has in store for us
Be my best
Be beautiful on the outside and inside

I am looking forward to the journey and will take each day as it comes.  No rush, no fuss.
Just BE

  17. Hi! I love this (I found you through Mama Kat). I don’t have a word yet, but I am working on it. I’ve been inspired by many “New Year Posts.” I have lots of ideas, and I’m working on my resolutions, but to just be would probably fit, because I’m just not ready yet:). Today I will put away all the Christmas decorations, finally. So that should be a good motivator! Happy New Year.
