The Ultimate Coffee Date January

Well hello there, good morning and happy New Year.   This is the first Ultimate Coffee Date of 2015 and I am pretty excited to be co-hosting with Deborah and Coco.  Take time to join us and link up your coffee related post for the month and meet fellow bloggers.  Now let’s catch up.

The Ultimate Coffee Date

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that … we ended the year with some super exciting news.  Our oldest son has graduated from the EMT program {top third in the class} AND passed the National Registry right after.  He is now officially certified and ready to follow his passion in the field of EMT/Paramedic.  I could not have been more proud and happy.  I am so excited to see him follow his passion and head out on the new journey ahead.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that … I was introduced to the 100 Good Deeds A Day Movement  last month and was asked to be part of sharing this amazing project.  I love this movement and am very humbled to have been invited to join as a blogger.  Make sure you check out the link and help share the word and purchase a bracelet for yourself OR for someone else.

100 Deed A Day

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that … The past few weeks over Christmas break has been very nice.  Just spending time with the kids and really being present with them has been fun.  Board games, movies and projects galore.  Faith and I enjoyed a mother daughter afternoon ice skating in Napa.  Time spent well and priceless.

So proud of our children. So grateful and blessed.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that … I have been back at Pure Barre  full time now.  My workouts are normally six days a week and I will be incorporating this into my running training.  I have three half marathons on the book for this year as of now and I am looking forward to tracking and sharing my progress.  My way of documenting as I go.

If we were having coffee I would tell you that … I am ready to be back on track with fresh and clean eating.  Since November {that is when I start my holiday eating}, I have been enjoying a bit more wine, chocolate, candy canes, Baileys with coffee and I am ready to detox my body of it all.  Back to full time greens, veggies and tons more water.  Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that … I have been invited to become one of the first {along with four others} Hint Water Ambassadors.  I love drinking Hint Water and am super jazzed to be a part of this local bay area company and share with you a special discount on your Hint Water purchases.  Code HINTLYNDA for $5 off your purchase.

  2. Congrats to your son that’s amazing! Glad to hear you like Pure Barre so much. I also loved being with my kids so much over winter break. I am treasuring these times with my daughter before she goes to college. I need to get back to my healthier eating as well. I’ve been way too lax the past month. Great catching up over coffee!

  11. Hi Lynda! I love this! I may have to link up and join you next week. If we were having coffee (or tea, which is what I’d drink), I’d tell you that I am in the SAME boat with you on the holiday eating since November. I look forward to a normal routine this week with a few less get togethers on the agenda, so I can get back on track. And Pure Barre six times a week? That’s incredible. Good to know there’s a Pure Barre in wine country. Happy Saturday:)
