  12. I think that understanding any length of a run is a RUN and not to beat myself up even when I’m aching after a mile. Some days are great and I’m full of plenty of energy but others are short and sweet.

  13. I want to run several half marathons this year but I want to travel outside my hometown for them! I want to travel east and west coast to really explore this country by foot!

  14. I just want to get back into running and NOT to have a crappy, busted knee, and maybe do something determined like 5k a day for a while. I bet I COULD if I forced myself, and I bet I could make it a habit, and I so, so need a healthy habit right now.

    that’s an incredible assortment! I’m working my way up to a 25K trail race…my first trail race so we’ll see how it goes! I have a feeling judging by our most recent weather it might be more of a mud run than a trail race…

    I am currently working on hills. I can run on a flat surface for quite a few miles but hills just destroy my legs and they feel like heavy weights I can’t lift. There is a specific hill in my neighborhood that my goal is to be able to run to, then run up and keep on running once I reach the top without stopping. 😉

    I am working on building up my endurance. I love to run but if I don’t keep it up at least 3/4 times a week I find that I lose a lot of my endurance if say, I have to take a week or so off because of an injury or something comes up.
