The Ultimate Coffee Date July

Happy 4th of July everyone and welcome to the Ultimate Coffee Date.  I am going to keep this month’s link up and post pretty easy and quick as I know {assume} everyone is pretty busy doing some fun weekend, holiday activities.  If you are new to our Ultimate Coffee Date my co-hosts and I welcome you.  Make sure to take some time to visit Deborah and Coco also.  Sharing is caring so leaving comments and “coffee only related posts” are encouraged.

sparklers.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you  that I just completed my second Zooma Half Marathon two weeks ago in Napa.  I enjoy that race route so much and had a pretty great run until having to stop TWICE for porta potty breaks.  My worst nightmare while running for sure.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you  that we are back from a great vacation in South Lake Tahoe.  So much fun, I always love going back “home”.  I grew up in South Lake and every visit has me felling nostalgic.  I have a great post in the works about the vacation and a review from there, so hopefully you head back to read up and check out the pictures.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I received an email from Destination Races and have been invited to run the Napa to Sonoma Half Marathon.  I am beyond excited for this particular race.  I have wanted to run this for some time and I have two weeks to get ready for it.  I should be okay since just finishing a half, however this race will have some pretty big hills and I need to step up the training as I am normally not a hill runner.

Napa to Sonoma Half

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I have a few days left for the #SummerSeries  #SkinCare  giveaway on the blog.  Some great summer skin care products and I am loving all of them.  Check it out HERE and enter to win.  Come back later this month for the last installment of the giveaway #AllThingsSummer.Summer Series Skin Care

If we were having coffee, I would tell you to have an AMAZING 4th of July weekend.  Enjoy, be safe and have fun.

Thank you so much for joining us.  Make sure to use the hashtag #UltimateCoffeeDate when sharing and tweeting our link up.

  17. I have done Napa to Sonoma – it is awesome and the hills are not bad! (And I live in Chicago so you can trust me on this one!) The worst one is the beginning and it is steep and quick.

  18. I know the route really well from driving back and forth all the time, however I am a pretty flat road runner so I am trying to stay flexible and foam rolling to not get too tight. I am training on some hills here in town up to race week. Thanks for coffee Erica 🙂
