The Ultimate Coffee Date August

Good morning everyone and wow happy August.  We are really wrapping up summer quickly.  The kids head back to school in about two weeks and we have to start our back to school shopping soon.  However, we are still in play mode.  Welcome to our Ultimate Coffee Date, thanks for being here and chatting with myself and my co-hosts Deborah and Coco.  Please make sure to share your coffee related post and as always sharing and commenting is appreciated.

Ultimate Coffee Date

If we were having coffee, I would tell you to please check out my latest half marathon race re-cap.  I had the opportunity to run the Napa to Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon two weeks ago and it was just amazing.  Click here for all the wonderful photos and details.  Destination Races really knows how to put on a race weekend.

If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I am still running and training for my next half marathon.  The Napa Half Marathon, September 27th.  I am really looking forward to that and am combining Pure Barre with my training.

  10. Good luck with the Napa half training. I hope the weather is nice for you. We were out in SF in early June and day-tripped to Sonoma and Napa. Amazed at how much hotter it was there than in San Fran.

  17. I did Napa to Sonoma twice and loved it. I am going to be in Healdsburg on the day of the Napa Marathon but we fly home at 1:00 so I don’t think we will be able to make the race and get back to SFO in time. So bummed!! Bad planning! There is a cool 12K in Sonoma that day, too. That one may be a possibility. I am going with runner friends, so we may try to swing it!

Good luck with your training! Running in Tahoe looks awesome!

  18. The Napa to Sonoma half is on my short list for CA. Doing only 1 in each state makes you very picky!

I don’t drink at all, but I still love Napa & Sonoma.

I’ll definitely be checking out some of your recipes.

  22. Sigh – those wine country races are on my runner’s bucket list. What stunning, gorgeous, breathtaking scenery! Those hills, though… whew!!!

Pure Barre is the best! Such a great cross-training exercise for us runners. It perfectly targets all those areas that we need the most strength-building!

Avocado egg muffins… YUMMY. Excuse me while I wipe the drool off of my computer keyboard. 😉

Thanks so much for hosting the coffee date!!!
