Hydration is pretty much a word we need to hear and use all year round.  There is no season for hydrating, it should just be given that we need to be properly hydrating our bodies all year round.  Hydrating is easier for some and more difficult for others.  Some of us can drink glasses of water all day long and some need help getting water in them.  Check out SOS Hydration.  The fast-acting electrolyte replacement and hydration drink that helps combat dehydration caused by active lifestyles and physical performance.

As I have been getting back into my running routine, I have incorporated SOS Hydration into my “pre-run” game plan.  My banana or oatmeal and a glass of SOS.  They come in easy to use servings.  You can pack these into pretty much anything and take them anywhere.  Just open and add to your favorite smoothie, or water.  The Mango flavor is sweet, so if you are someone who has trouble drinking plain water, you might really enjoy these.

Fresh Kale
Fresh Spinach
Grated Fresh Ginger
Half Green Apple
Coconut Water
Fresh Lime Juice {squeeze to desire}

SOS can effectively combat tiredness, fatigue and dehydration that occurs from the day, work, travel or whatever active lifestyle you live.  Adding these to my green drink is a way to add a bit of sweetness and extra electrolytes.  I like knowing I am good to go for the day and extra hydrated.

  3. I have been debating if I should order SOS, I will have to now. I think it would be a great to add to my pre-run routine. I am great at hydrating when I am running and after, but I am terrible at it before. This could help me, especially because I love anything mango!

  8. Growing up I would still surf just with a wetsuit and a lot courage ha, I danced all through school and college and weekends skiing at Tahoe. During grad school in Utah I taught skiing. Now that we are on the East Coast I am not sure what I am going to do- probably continue with Pure Barre and Spin class! But with the mild winter weather I will probably keep running too! 🙂
