Valentine’s with Mom and the Dog…

Happy Valentines Day….. Today I made my home-made valentines for my class at school. My wonderful mom helped me with the bagging and the candy counting process (not sure if we ate more candy then we added to the bags).   I had a really great hour spending time with my mom and my puppy, Stryker.

I googled for homemade valentines and found a few, but went with something like this one. I did need a few supplies, so I called my kind dad at work and asked  him to please go to Michaels  (the art store) to get small pink bags and some curly, red ribbon.

As I expected, he did as told! When my dad got home, we went to CVS to get yummmmmy candy, for example, Hershey Milk Chocolate and giant Sweet Hearts.  When we were all done, we ate some ice cream ( it was vanilla).

Next time I won’t forget to get another candy bag, because the first one didnt last long!!!

DO you make homemade Valentine’s with your kids?  Do you bake anything special?  My mom does not bake and that is okay with us (unless it is a slice and bake something).

I love adding the date to the back of anything I make…even if it is for Mom and Dad

Mom told me to check in my sticker box to see if we had anything we could use just to add more to the Valentine’s and sure enough I found these cute small heart stickers…
