Christmas Dinner Wine Country Style

The new year is already here and I am pretty behind on my posts.  I have literally taken time over the holiday break to play with the kids, make food, enjoy family, take many pictures, enjoy some “bubbles”, remove the tree, pack up the holiday “stuff”, watch movies, take naps, snuggle up with my hubby and fit in my Pure Barre classes.  But here we are, January 1st and I am re-capping our Christmas Dinner. Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta

What a great family weekend we had.  With the kids out of school and the hubby home, we wanted to end the long holiday weekend with a simple meal for the two of us to enjoy after feeding the kids dinner. We do this often, as both my hubby and I truly believe in “our time”.  Family is the number one important thing to us and our kids come first, however making time each night for us is just as important and most likely the key to our successful 15 years of marriage. 🙂 We can’t always head out for “date night” but we can keep “date night” at home and that is very budget friendly.
