Birthday Party Vision Boards

This past weekend had us spending the entire two days outdoors and in my opinion went by too quickly.  I could not be more blessed and happy to be living in the wine country.  The weather here is pretty much always amazing and well, to be honest {although we are in dire need of more rain}, I am glad to not be living amongst the frozen states across the map {my heart goes out to all of you who are tired of all the snow and cold}. Our daughter turned 13 last week and I am always up for doing something creative and different for her birthdays.  Budget friendly is key, while still being fun and entertaining.  As she is getting older, this seems to be more of a challenge.  How can I get a group of 12/13 year old girls together, have them unplug from electronics, keep them entertained…  Read More…

Cross Country My Heart Is Happy

When Miss Faith had decided to get out of the pool and hang up her swim fins two years ago, I was so bummed.  She just had the most natural way about her in the water and picked up on swimming as a competition right away.  Her butterfly stroke was AMAZE balls!  However, as kids will do, she just decided to stop that sport and give something else a try.
