The Ultimate Coffee Date 2016 #3

Good morning and happy Saturday.  It’s March already, and as you can tell by the lack of posts, my blogging had taken a back seat recently as I have been adjusting to life lately.  I am here today though to join all of you for coffee. While having coffee today, I will share with you that it has taken me longer than I thought to adjust to having our oldest son gone.  Since leaving for the Army Rangers, my entire world has been changed and if I were to be totally honest, I just checked out.  I feel as if I would be discrediting myself if I didn’t let you know that I just have had days where I didn’t have the desire to get out or really get up out of bed.  I would just go through the motions of the tasks I knew needing tending like getting the…  Read More…

The Ultimate Coffee Date November

How on earth can it be November already?  I know this is cliche, but as I get older the time really does go by faster.  I really notice it with the kids.  They are growing up and I have been finding myself wanting to turn the clock back.  I have digressed, let me get back to the start … Happy Saturday and welcome to another #UltimateCoffeeDate with myself and co-hosts Deborah and Coco.  I love stopping each month and taking a long weekend to go over your links and comments.  It is a nice way to slow down and re-group, re-connect or connect with new bloggers. ♥ If we were having coffee, I would chat on  about how my kids are growing too fast.  I know, they have to and I am so super proud of all of them.  I just want to stop and slow down.  Is it because…  Read More…

The Ultimate Coffee Date #3

Good morning, welcome to another Ultimate Coffee Date  with myself, Nikki and Jill.  Find a quiet spot and settle in and join us for some chat time and coffee, tea or whatever you enjoy this Saturday morning.  ♥ While we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you  that our son Noah just graduated from the 8th grade the other day and we are so proud of him and all the hard work he has done during middle school.  He suffers from an excessive form of OCD and it is a challenge everyday for him.  With the help of our school IEP program and amazing teaching staff, Noah was able to stay on the honor roll for the last three years and play sports.  Something that is more difficult for him because of the OCD.  We could not be more proud. While we were having coffee this morning, I…  Read More…

The Ultimate Coffee Date #1

Good morning and happy Saturday.  I am super excited to be having our very first Ultimate Coffee Date  hosted by myself, along with Nikki and Jill.  Take some time this weekend and pour yourself a cup and cozy up as we sit and virtually chat as if we were having coffee together. ♥ First I would meet you and give you a hug as we pull up our chairs and I would ask you how you have been and comment on how great you are looking, or how cute your hair looks, or what a cute outfit you had on, then ask you how the kids were, or the hubby {significant other}.  We would chat and catch up, people watch around the room and smile at strangers or say hello to familiar faces, then… While we were having coffee this morning I would tell you that the gray in my…  Read More…
